This month, we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Our social this month is all about the Revolution. Our tea selection this quarter is chosen based on careful research into the tea of the time. Guests will get the opportunity to drink the some of the same kinds of tea that were thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party. Join us in discussion around the the culture of Colonial America and learn the importance of the coffeehouses and how they led to the American Revolution. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a modified version of Lookabout- an 18th century version of I Spy! |
Autumn is a season of thankfulness. It is the time of year where we all gather together and drink warm drinks and look back on the year and reminisce. This month, our tea selection is full of warm spices and harvest fruits. Discussion this quarter will revolve around family and farms. Remember the good times and bask in the nostalgia. Guests will have the opportunity to tell stories of their own; share happy memories and make new ones with us. Learn about the importance of family around the farm and about how farming used to be. In the spirit of storytelling, our game this month will be "Yes and..." |
